Delight In Me A Woman

In reflection of Isaiah chapter 62 verse 4:

“You shall no more be termed Forsaken, and your land shall no more be termed Desolate, but you shall be called My Delight Is in Her, and your land Married, for the Lord delights in you, and your land shall be married.”

In other versions of the Bible the term is you shall be called Hephzibah.

Delight in me a woman
Take delight in my womanhood, not my curves, not my facial attraction.
Take delight in my strength inside out and my beauty in the reflection of my heart of gold.
I am women and carry dignity on my shoulder and integrity on my forehead.
I am affectionate but do not caress me to kill me.
I AM WOMAN, TAKE DELIGHT IN ME. It is not the shape of my legs that shows my strength, but the fact that after the fall I still remain to stand and try again is worth praising.
Look in my eyes and not my breasts to measure my scars, I have removed the mask and have let you in to see my every being, please take delight in me and not light the fire in me to inflict more scars.
I have the scars and they have been part of me and yet I still love and give, please take delight in this strength.
Do not test my capabilities just simply because I have been taken from the rib of Adam. I am the mother of the nation, delight in me as the Lord delights in my uniqueness.
I have been called to greatness and for that reason marvel at me standing up to the challenge.
I have been battered, bruised and yet I still stand tall.
I have become the voice for the voiceless and the activist in me shouts out, take delight in me for I take delight in me and walk the talk and talk the walk.
Delight in me, for I am woman.
I do not demand respect as respect oozes out in every corner of my character.
Yes, this is I, woman and a force to be reckoned with.
Take delight for I dared to dream and dared to live my dream.
Take delight for when the world threw rocks that looked like lemons I made lemonade and gave the world my smile and not my frown.
I live to love even when society hates and shows anger of all forms, take delight in me a woman.
Take delight in me… shhhhhh.
All we ask is that you take delight in us, as the Lord takes delight in us. Women.
