Communications: Alwyn Gulzar

As the leader of com­mu­ni­ca­tion, Alwyn Gulzar ensures that our mes­sage reach­es far and wide. From man­ag­ing our social media pres­ence on Face­book and our engag­ing web­site to over­see­ing the safe­ty and secu­ri­ty of our mem­bers’ data, Alwyn keeps us con­nect­ed and informed. He also has a keen eye for pho­tog­ra­phy, cap­tur­ing beau­ti­ful moments with­in our church fam­i­ly and beyond.

Facilities: Rodney Taylor

Rod­ney Tay­lor over­sees the main­te­nance of our church facil­i­ties, ensur­ing they are ful­ly func­tion­al and safe for all users. He brings his exper­tise as a mechan­i­cal engi­neer to this impor­tant role. Rod­ney runs a suc­cess­ful refrig­er­a­tion and air con­di­tion­ing import and dis­tri­b­u­tion com­pa­ny. He plays both bass and elec­tric gui­tar in our music team and has con­tributed his wood­work­ing skills on many occassions.

Rod­ney is also a pas­sion­ate cyclist.

He is sup­port­ed in his efforts as Facil­i­ties Leader by Alwyn Gulzar.

Finance: Nokwazi Sithole

Nok­wazi Sit­hole, a qual­i­fied accoun­tant, man­ages the Finance Port­fo­lio for our church. She ensures that our finances are in order, sup­port­ing var­i­ous min­istries and ini­tia­tives. In addi­tion to her finan­cial duties, Nok­wazi also serves as a Sacristan.

Growth: Petrie Hamlyn

Petrie looks after Growth, which includes wel­com­ing new­com­ers, coor­di­nat­ing the wel­com­ers’ min­istry, and sup­port­ing our Home and Bible Study Groups. He also offers var­i­ous study cours­es to help peo­ple grow in their faith. With years of expe­ri­ence in the mar­ket­ing side of the bev­er­age indus­try, Petrie brings valu­able insight into build­ing strong sys­tems and rela­tion­ships — a pas­sion he now brings into grow­ing our church community.

Outreach: Maya Koboka

Maya Kobo­ka is our out­reach coor­di­na­tor, con­nect­ing with church­es, com­mu­ni­ties, and orga­ni­za­tions in the Rand­burg area. She spear­heads our mis­sion efforts, coor­di­nates activ­i­ties for new­com­ers, orga­nizes neigh­bour­hood walks, and ensures that we pro­vide sup­port and care to those in need through vis­i­ta­tions and part­ner­ships. At present Maya needs vol­un­teers to assist her with this Ministry

Outreach (Assistant): Reginah Mogole

Regi­nah sup­ports Maya Kobo­ka in the Out­reach port­fo­lio, help­ing to guide and grow the church’s involve­ment in the wider com­mu­ni­ty. With her back­ground as an Invest­ment Ana­lyst, she brings a thought­ful, strate­gic approach to plan­ning and resource allo­ca­tion — skills that are invalu­able in ensur­ing our out­reach efforts make a last­ing impact where they’re need­ed most.

Pastoral Care: Mondo Komane

Mon­do Komane, an expert in health, safe­ty, and envi­ron­men­tal man­age­ment, leads our Pas­toral Care Port­fo­lio, which includes coun­sel­ing and the Jeho­vah Jireh Pantry. A brave solo trav­el­er and food enthu­si­ast, Mon­do brings her pas­sion and exper­tise to her role.

She is sup­port­ed by Moyra Mum­mery and Petrie and Leslie Hamlyn.

Worship: Ruth Stead

Ruth Stead over­sees the Wor­ship Port­fo­lio, which includes all aspects of our church ser­vices. This encom­pass­es the Music Team, Dance Team, Clowns & Dra­ma, Sac­ristans, Sway/EasyWorship PC oper­a­tors, Wel­com­ers, Flower Arrangers, Scrip­ture Read­ers, Servers, Sides peo­ple, Sound Desk, and Ban­ner Makers.

St. Andrew’s is blessed with many tal­ent­ed and gift­ed indi­vid­u­als who con­tribute to the smooth run­ning of our ser­vices. They help every­one feel includ­ed and wel­comed, enabling a mean­ing­ful wor­ship expe­ri­ence before God and the Sav­iour. We warm­ly invite any­one inter­est­ed in join­ing any of these min­istries to serve our community.

Young People: Nancy M. Muchindu

Nan­cy Muchin­du is a busi­ness­woman and entre­pre­neur, who owns a beau­ty prod­ucts and cos­met­ics com­pa­ny called Nayoka Beau­ty. As a ded­i­cat­ed moth­er, she man­ages the Sun­day School and Young People’s Port­fo­lio, ensur­ing engag­ing and nur­tur­ing envi­ron­ments for our youth.

She is sup­port­ed by Doreen Mayne and Car­ol Roodt.
